A uniquely Japanese creation, the chirimen weave was developed over 400 years ago during the Edo period.  This soft, petal-like fabric has been used for centuries to create one of Japan's trademark fashions - the Kimono.

The rich colors and intricate floral motifs of our chirimen-wrapped headbands will be the perfect accent to your little girl's favorite outfit.
